A Second Generation Auctioneer, Chuck Mutz has worked in the Auction Industry for over 30 years. His father, Tim Mutz, founded ServCorp International, Inc. (originally named Sencore Auction Service) in 1976. As a traditional auction company, Chuck called bids on almost everything from Antiques to Cranes to – literally – Kitchen Sinks.
In 2009, the Krewe of Orpheus asked he participate in the 13th Night Event benefitting the George Rodrigue Foundation of the Arts. His energy and enthusiasm caught the attention of Jacque Rodrigue and from that moment, Chuck found his calling. Since then, he and his team has assisted with hundreds of Benefit Events and assisted in raising Millions of Dollars for worthwhile causes such as the the American Cancer Society, LLS, March of Dimes, Children's Eye Foundation, and Habitat for Humanity.
in 2017, Chuck earned his Benefit Auctioneer Specialist (BAS) Certification and is the only BAS Auctioneer in Louisiana. BAS Auctioneers must meet specific qualifications; undergo specialized training and participate in continuing education. With this, he brings consulting services, revenue enhancers and other key ideas to enhance donor participation.
As an emcee, public speaker and training for over 10 years, Chuck and his team has worked with groups from 10 to 1,000+. His high energy and enthusiasm is felt by the crowd and people leave his events feeling energized.
Chuck Mutz is a four time national sales award winner, earning top honors at Sprint-Nextel, tw telecom and Level 3 Communications. He lead the Louisiana team for almost 4 years in a row when wireless data first emerged. He knows how to train sales reps on the "Why" of selling to clients.
